I rarely submit reviews but in this situation really feel compelled to. I didn't have an idea how much and if someone had the hitch for 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback. Went to Uhaul to set it all up Uhaul told me no hitch is made for my car. A coustom hitch was a $1,000 plus installation. WOW no thanks! Went to Mitsubishi hitch no longer aviable. Whent on line hoping to find one no one listed one for my Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback untill I got to The Hitch Store.They listed 2002-2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Sedan, (Except Evolution) nothing about Sportback. Hoping I purchased it. A Curt Class 1 Receiver Hitch for my my Mitsubishi Sportback Curt modal (11476)Price: $153.43 with Free Shipping. Other Stores listed this same part No.For more money no free shiping with a added charge for over size. I received my Curt hitch in 3 working days At first I thouht the hitch was not the right one to fit. After a bit of fiddling and measuring, I realized the hitch was bent. Judging from the condition of the box; no doubt by UPS. About two min. with a hammer I had it bent back into a shape. It fit great! and the craftsmanship was outstanding! It was extremely easy to install, And lined up perfectly with the existing holes in the frame of my Mitsubishi sportback. I couldn't be more satisfied.
