I recieved my order ahead of the scheduled delivery time. I then opened and inventoried my order, all was present as specified. After reading your thorough and detailed instructions. I pondered the cutting of my bumper on my new Jeepster. I decided to sleep on it, the next morning with coffee in hand, my friend & I started the execution of instructions step by step. Everything went better then expected, and to top it "ALL" off. We had over an 1/8 inchoff varience between bumper & hitch..I was very, very "HAPPY" to say the least. Late at night on the 7/16 I ordered online a 4 bike rack along with a couple of other items to get to the $150 free shipping threshold. The following Monday morning (7/20) I receive an email indicating the delivery status. I check with UPS and it shows that the items will be delivered that afternoon! Recently installed a Curt trailer hitch for a 2010 Ford Focus. I watched various videos prior to install. Actually I did the wiring first; very straight forward. I used a floor jack to aid with the hitch install. I would recommend using lock washers on all 6 bolts or at least LockTite. Unit looks great and hides away under rear bumper. Would highly recommend Curt units.
