As a Canadian, who has had several bad experiences while ordering from across the border, I proceeded to order my new hitch with a little trepidation. In the past, I have had orders backed up in Customs, orders that could not or would not be filled, lost orders and seriously delayed orders. I must enthusiastically say that my experience with The Hitch Store has been a great experience.
It was helped by the fact that there is a distribution Center for “Curt Hitches” west of Toronto and although the order was placed in Kentucky it was shipped directly from the Canadian Center. That resulted in delivery by UPS within 2 days of ordering, with no customs hassles, no duty, no PST or GST and no shipping charges. Before exchange the price was half the price of a Reese. The quality is excellent and the installation was a “no brainer”.
Thank you Hitch Store for your great service. Other retail businesses should take a page from your book.
