Chrysler Town and Country install Tips
First of all, ordering through the website was painless and very well put together. I even reached a "human" when I had to call directly to ask a question, and they were very knowledgeable about their product. The shipping was fast and free and doesn't get much better than that. Ok...when I first looked at the instructions I laughed to myself on the "20 minute" install section. I have put together a lot of stuff in my life and assembled things, and I am an above average technical person, so when I saw that, it made me laugh. When removing the two outermost bolts, which of course were rusted in place, use some "creeping oil", I recommend AeroKroil...and let it soak for a bit. I had a bolt break off in the frame rail, and had to drill it out, which only added to the install time, which in no part reflects the hitch install "20 minute" time. Once that was taken care of, with the help of another person which is definetly a MUST...the install went really well. Make sure open up the square holes in the frame rail like the directions state, that way you can get the bolts and washers with the fishwire properly through. With the help of a friend the actual install of the hitch itself remarkably was around 20-30 minutes. Now the wiring harness...The instructions want you to run the "pigtail" along the back part of the bumper and flop it out the hatch whenever you need to hook up the lights!...DON'T DO THAT!...Who wants to close the hatch on your expensive wiring harness you just bought!!!...instead remove the long piece of trim on the floor that holds the carpet in, lift it up and you will find a round rubber plug/boot with wires leading to it that will run under your vehicle. Simply slice that rubber boot and run your pigtail through it, out the bottom and zip tie to the hitch!...then once the install is complete, you have the lights back on and all the trim pieces, you cannot even tell anything was changed!, no wires to throw outside of your van and become damaged by the hatch!...hopefully this helps anyone trying to install.

I am Convinced
I just received my hitch that I ordered yesterday! I did read other customers that had the same experience, but was not totally convinced for the 'free shipping'. Until Now Great job! The hitch I ordered was exactly what I saw on your website. And it installed in 20 minutes! Thanks again,
Mark T
